my rat died... :(

and my other one ate half of its face.

i am kinda sad right now.
i could see her teeth and everything. its like...something took a baby chainsaw to her. but theres no blood anywhere
*shudders*
Feeble ate it...and maybe the new baby too.

*faints*

D: I'm sorry to hear that your rat died...and the other one ate it. x_x that happens sometimes. the guienpigs that i use to have did that when one died.

I don't think that the other rat will eat a new one though. xD;;;;

Thats so sad!!! ;o; I know exactly how that feels though, I had some gerbils and one day they did that to lizzy.... Though when I went down stairs and found her......she was still alive, but her skin all on her was chewed up and she was bleeding and was in pain, and I could tell she had struggled against Libby, cause Libby had some strange wounds like she had got in a fight...

So... yeah I knew my gerbil was in pain and prolly dying but I wanted to save lizzy... so I called the vet for advice and I was crying and stuff and the vet people who answered the phone yelled at me for keeping my gerbils together... even though I never had problems like this in all the like 3-4 years I had them...

ya...me and my sister are teasing that it mighta been the two of my rats that ate her. Feeble, my older female who is about 3 months old ate her and the baby who i saved from snake food who is not even weaned yet, 2 weeks old, drank all the blood. 0.0

They said it wasn't a good thing to do because females have a tendacy to eat cage mates or something.. but they didn't do it for so long so.. ;_;

That's... really scary. I've had LOADS of rats, but they've NEVER eaten each other. I'm really, really sorry you had to see something like that. I might've puked...
